Yeah, it's good to be out on that practice field again.

There's just such a good energy out there and the weather's beautiful and there's palm trees and Osprey's flying around and a bunch of kids that love football.

So it's a fun place to be.

Hello and welcome to Always College Football. I'm your host Greg McElroy. It is officially Thursday,

March 13th, and we are very happy to have you with us today as we embark on our continuing

coverage of spring football. We did the SEC on Monday's show, and today we will dive into the

Big 12. Last year was a tremendous year for the Big

12. You had a handful of teams that were still very much in the running with just two weeks to go

in November. You had Colorado in the mix, Kansas State in the mix, BYU in the mix, Arizona State,

who ended up winning it in the mix and then Iowa State in there as well.

So if you look just a couple weeks out from conference championship Saturday, you have five or six teams that are still in the mix.

Who will be those teams this year? It wouldn't surprise me at all if when we look at the Big 12, much like 2024.

And then the years prior to that, of course, we're moving Oklahoma and Texas.

It's a very, very flat and wide field in which just about anybody can go and contend.

If Kansas, going from five and seven last year were to go and make the college football

playoff this year, would it surprise and make the college football playoff this

year, would it surprise you?

It really wouldn't surprise me that much.

And we'll get into Kansas here in just a little bit.

We'll talk some Arizona State.

We'll talk some BYU.

We'll talk some UCF, who's got a new head coach running the show down there.
