And that is what we will be reacting to here this evening along with talking about what is next for the Minnesota Vikings as they get ready to play the Cincinnati Bengals with Carson Wentz at quarterback.

So why don't we just begin this way with Manny?

You are a historian of the Minnesota Vikings. So I feel like you can appreciate how often this

has happened to the Vikings that they have a promising young quarterback and something goes

sideways and it ends up with a journeyman as their

starter and only God knows what is coming next. So, Mani, give me your reaction to J.J. McCarthy

spraining high sprain for his ankle. And now it is Carson Wentz time in Minnesota.

That's crazy, man.

It just feels like this never fails with this position and this franchise.

It's like they just can't escape it.

They can't get away from it.

You think about, you go all the way back to Brad Johnson getting injured one year and

Randall Cunningham having to come in and play for him.

I think it was 97 and then 98, Brad Johnson got hurt again.

Randall Cunningham came in and actually played great and obviously they had the big year,

the 15 and one year with Randy Moss moss and everything um then you think about dante getting hurt in 2005 then you go to teddy

bridgewater in 2016 i mean it's just it just seems never ending and the guy that replaced

teddy bridgewater sam bradford the next year

having a great game against the new Orleans Saints to start the season and then all of a sudden
