So you helped manage the Nixon administration's opening of diplomatic relations with China's communist government.

Well they're not predetermined at this point, but I think that Trump has made a number of statements which have been

divisive in terms of US relations with Europe and US relations with our allies in particular in NATO.

other American presidents have had in the past, to really exercise leadership at this summit.
