Chris Carter, NFL and NCAAF analyst, hosts the Locked on Steelers podcast. JuJu Smith-Schuster and James Washington found new teams with the Kansas City Chiefs and the Dallas Cowboys. But the Pittsburgh Steelers have been well known for drafting well at wide receiver, and could very well do so again with a strong WR NFL Draft class. When do Kevin Colbert and Mike Tomlin make their move at wide receiver in this class? Sure, first round draft picks like Chris Olave, Garrett Wilson and Drake London who would be great, but there are also plenty of receivers who could be selected on day 2 of the NFL Draft like Skyy Moore, Christian Watkins, Jahan Dotson and George Pickens who could be game changers as well. The Steelers should keep open the idea of getting a defensive star with the first round pick, while saving their pick at wide receiver for the second or third rounds, and keeping the option open to come back around for another WR in the late rounds.
