It's now been a couple of days since friends and family have seen Benjamin Anderson.

The 41-year-old was last seen New Year's Eve near 7th Street in Maryland and north central Phoenix.

Yesterday, friends of Anderson gathered to hand out missing persons flyers in the area where they say his

burned out Lexus was found near I-17 and Dunlap. Longtime friends tell us that they've spent

several sleepless nights trying to track down any leads on his whereabouts. He was supposed to be

with his parents on New Year's Eve, and it's so unlike him to not show up without saying something.

On December 31st, while everyone around them was celebrating, getting ready to ring in a new year,

friends of 41-year-old Benjamin Anderson were driving all over Phoenix looking for him.

Police officers called us. The vehicle wasn't there. It already moved. She went to

the Super 8. There was a carload of us and looked nothing there. Finding clue after clue that something

was wrong. There was this car, backed into a spot, three people around it. Ben wasn't with them.

They came back out, turned left, going the wrong way on the frontage road.
