I was glad that when I called up NPR's David Fulkenflick to talk about Donald Trump's

town hall on CNN last week, he, like me, hadn't watched the whole thing live.

I didn't.

I was putting my kids to bed, so I watched it on a slight delay.

It felt like a little bit as though I was anticipating a rerun of something I had watched
