When I got Charlie Warzel on the line, I had a simple question for him.

What weather apps do you have on your phone?

Charlie's answer was a little less simple.

So I used to be a dark sky loyalist before the purge,

before they kind of shuttered it and folded it into Apple weather.

I've since started using Apple weather, which I don't like.

And recently through recommendations, I've been like toying around with a couple of different weather apps.

One is called carrot, and one is called windy.app.

Not to be confused with windy, which is another app.

There are over 10,000 weather apps in the Android and iOS app stores making all this very confusing.

So that's a total of four, at least four that he currently uses.

I mean, I have like a whole graveyard of old weather apps that I have discarded over the years.

Discarded because weather apps kind of suck.
