Earlier this week, I spoke with Danish politician Magretta Vestair. She's the European Commission's

commissioner for competition, and it's not a stretch to say she's one of the most important people in the world

when it comes to regulating big tech. One newspaper article described her as putting the fear of

God into Silicon Valley.

For Americans who aren't familiar with your work, how would you introduce yourself and say what you do?

I'm a member of the European Commission. I'm one of the executive vice presidents.
