When someone shot up Linda Lopez's house, the truth is she didn't even know it,

and she was there. Linda lives in Albuquerque. The shooting happened on January 3rd.

That night she'd stayed up late with her kids. The last thing I can remember is that my daughter,

of course, went to Slate in her room. She wasn't on her tablet, which is a blessing in so many ways,

because as you know, young people nowadays, they're constantly on the internet or playing a game.

It was about one in the morning when Linda heard the bangs.
