hey sisterhood it's Kristen here and before we get into the normal regular episode of the girl

to find show I just wanted to say a few words um Ukraine is obviously so heavy on our hearts and

minds right now as we uh follow along from afar what's going on over there with our sister Alyssa

with her husband Andre um with her pregnancy and the fact that her babies do any minute um with

them fleeing and trying to get to safety all of their friends and all of Andre's family and then of

course all of the relationships that I built in Zach built when we were over there adopting our

boys less than a year ago so much has changed and our hearts are so heavy and broken over what we

are seeing in Ukraine I recorded a short update so if you missed it check out the most recent podcast

episode prior to this one to get a full update on our sister on our husband on what's going on

specific ways you can support and pray and just kind of our thoughts on everything that's going

down right now so please check that out um also you'll notice in today's episode of the girl to find

show that we don't mention anything about Ukraine because this episode um as we dive into week one

of the book study for not part of the plan this episode was recorded was recorded prior to the

Russian invasion of Ukraine and so we don't mention anything although if we were to rerecord that

episode um talk about things not going according to our plan I assure you there would be lots of

mentions of Ukraine and our sister and all that's happening but because it was already pre-recorded

you won't hear any mentions which is why I'm jumping on here before the regular episode starts to

kind of give you guys that heads up um but as we are doing this study through not part of the plan

and as we're seeing all that the devastation and the loss and the chaos and the war breaking out in

Ukraine I just think of God's sovereignty in this moment as we are together linking arms and

doing a study on trusting God with the twist and turns of your story I we had no idea that this

was going to happen obviously um this invasion but what incredible perfect timing for our hearts
