What kind of dog do you have? That's a fascinating question, isn't it? Because all the dogs in the

world evolved over time, aided by artificial selection from exactly the same thing. A wolf.

There's no such thing as a purebred dog. There are inbred dogs, but no purebred dogs.

And left to their own devices, dogs would eventually evolve back to one sort of uber dog.

And yet we have dog breeds. And yet when we say what kind of dog do you have, we don't expect

the answer to be loyal or fun or a puppy. People might say I have a mutt, or they might even say I
