Full transparency, I just landed from a little place called Las Vegas and came straight into the studio.

Didn't get the amount of sleep that I should have. Might not be my best podcast today. Who knows?

I hope you give us a chance all the way through the end. But had a great couple of days doing the TV for Netflix, for the Netflix slam between Rafa and Carlos.

We will get to that in the closing of this show, but lots to get to.

This will always be a little bit different than what you may have seen on

TV. And if you didn't watch it, then just ignore me when I talk about the next 30 seconds.

But the pod will always be a little bit longer than what it is on the T2 version. I'll tell you

what they cut. This week they cut what I thought was a cool segment.

Apparently I was wrong about doubles in Indian Wells and why people tend to play it

and why outside of the Olympics it might be the strongest draw, doubles draw of any given year.

In Indian Wells preview, detailed analysis of the court service, why it plays the way it does,

the players to look for, how their games will translate to that surface. A lot of talk about

Andy Murray retiring this week, which leads into a kind of

more in-depth conversation where I kind of go through my retirement process that was a bit of an

outlier, but how it's all kind of a personal decision. And there's no wrong way to do it. If you're a

tennis player or frankly, if you've had a job for a while and

you're thinking about doing it. Kind of just a bit of an analysis on how that happens. And obviously
