Obviously, the unexpected USAID battle is not something that was telegraphed by President

it really was not in the top priority list of things that you expected to have in the first

hundred days of his new term become such a major controversy to the point that the

media and democratic politicians would react with such

vociferous degrees.

And that's something that I think is interesting about this new term in the sense that

there are so many things that the president has promised that he would do over the course

of the past several years, if given the chance to run things from the White House once again,

that we honestly, I think, stopped paying attention to a certain degree to some of them.

We were focused so much on issues related to foreign affairs, the economy, national security, and the border,

that some of these other things that have been promised and promised routinely

by presidential candidates from the Republican Party over the past several decades really

faded into the background. Now that he's back in office, these things are happening and they're
