Well, hello everybody.

Welcome to the latest episode of the Transfer Talk podcast.

The summer is here.

The transfer window officially opens very, very soon, but

plenty of transfer talk already taking place. Delighted to welcome our two special guests, ESPN

duo with me today, Julia Lawrence and San Tai. Great to see you both guys. Hello,

Julia, first of all, Champions League Final. I've just been hearing it was a real sort of split for your family, but you were there. PSG won again. Yeah, absolutely. Going back to back is a very special achievement for a team, for any teams, really, when you think about who did it in the modern era and even before that

in the European Cup era. So wonderful team, wonderful achievement again to go like that when

you've been waiting so long for one. It's a bit like English, like London buses, they come,

you know, at the same time pretty much. And I think this team is so young, the third

youngest in the competition this season, that Luis Enrique is still has a few more years at the club ahead of him, that I would love these teams to continue developing the way they do. I think they're more complete than last year. I think they're better than last year. And hopefully if they keep improving, they can maybe have a bit of a dynasty here and see how far they can go.

I think three in a row is obviously so difficult that only one clever done in two different stints, but at least keeping that kind of standard and level would be amazing.

Getting better, that's a worry for everyone, isn't if they keep improving?

And just to explain what I was saying about your kids are Arsenal and PSD fans.

So it was a tough, tough night for that. Well, it's in some ways the perfect night, isn't it? It was. It was a bit conflicting, I think, you know, from a family point of view. My wife has very strong times with the club. And the kids are very much the three of them brought up with PhD and Arsenal at the same level. So the two games they watch every weekend is the PhD game and the Arsenal game, whether in the stadium or on television. So for them, it was not the most enjoyable night because they just didn't want any team to lose. And obviously, somebody had to lose. So it was, it would have been perfect maybe with another team in the final than Arsenal or PSG, but we still take it. Yeah. I must be great grown up as parents like with Arsenal and PSG ties. I mean my, my mum was from Doncaster. Dad's from Wigan and I was born in Newcastle so it didn't have all the riches. I went for Newcastle. At least it was an easy choice for you. Yeah, it's true.
