0:23.8	had a good weekend. We're starting with on a weekend full of news and unbelievable stories.
0:30.8	We're starting with what's going on in Evanston, Illinois at Northwestern with coach Pat
0:36.4	Fitzgerald. A coach who was a star player with Northwestern suspended two weeks after
0:43.1	investigation found that there was hazing going on at Northwestern with the football team.
0:51.2	Sometimes it took place in Kenosha, Wisconsin, a training. Sometimes it took place in Evanston
0:58.2	and under all circumstances, hazing bad. So what does the school do when information is brought
1:05.3	to their attention by a player, a player in November of 22 said there's hazing going on.
1:12.3	Let's hire Samson and coca. Let's do an investigation and they did a rigorous six month investigation
1:20.5	and they uncovered the possibility of the practical maybe Pat Fitzgerald knew something about
1:34.5	someone somewhere. And so they said terrible. They get an entire PR release. We hired them.
1:43.5	They investigated this behavior is unacceptable. The coach didn't know suspended two weeks end of story.
1:52.3	We looked at that and said hazing that's really not amazing or ideal, but two weeks not a really
1:58.0	big punishment. Nothing's going on right now in July. So it's not really a meaningful punishment.
2:04.1	Pat Fitzgerald is okay. The program is okay. We're all okay. Then the local newspaper there
2:12.6	called the Daily. Of course, the Northwestern School of Journalism. They've got journalists,
2:17.7	budding journalists getting educated at that great big 10 school. Other outlets start getting
2:26.2	interested because it turns out that the players who are alleging that they were hazed or new or
2:33.8	saw about the hazing were not too pleased. So that caused Northwestern PR people to snap to
2:42.8	attention and they said, here's the first thing we're going to do. And this is always a good one.
2:47.4	We're going to have a letter sent from the entire football team to everyone in Northwestern saying,
2:55.2	don't hate on Pat Fitzgerald. He's our guy. We drink the cool aid every day and we promise you
