And while those messages prompted me to want to tackle big issues like student debt, medical bills, and money and politics

Perhaps the biggest theme that emerged from your emails was this overwhelming sense of helplessness

To put it bluntly, a lot of you feel like you're fucked

And listen, I know how you feel, I'm in a much better place than I used to be, but I will never forget the horrible feeling of waking up every morning and being trapped under a mountain

I hope that one of the things you've taken away from this show is the fact that there are ways out from under the mountain

And in a lot of cases just talking about the fact that the mountain exists is the first and most important step
