I know a lot of parents who reached those empty nest years and while they're

joyful for their child sometimes there's some regret and if you're feeling

You've met with so many different families how often is it that you

run into a parent who says I wish about the previous years the majority of parents

actually and really it's it's like anything else. We speak somewhere or we do something,

I wish I would have done this or I wish I would have done that differently.

So many parents really need to go towards grace, towards themselves that they did the best

they could with what they had.

Most of them say, I wish I would have played more.

I wish I would have paused more with a family and just enjoyed the ride because it went so fast,

went faster than I expected.

And many of them say, I wish I would have done more intentional things spiritually because of how it's

playing out in the adult years.

And even then, let's say these parents would have invested a ton spiritually.

There still is a journey our kids are on and we can't control all of that and

some of those regrets are because they feel their kids are just not solid spiritually

and they take blame for that.
