Aaron I'm glad to drag you along in another dark story. This one is an incredibly dark

and twisted and horrific. Do you know much about the story of Courtney Lake? I think this is pretty new for you.

It's pretty new. I did a little bit of googling about it.

Okay, good, because I think this will be a good way to get through it,

because the format of this episode is

going to be quite a bit different. For one, the two of us are going to walk through

and talk through the story of then 24-year-old Courtney Lake who's been missing since June 7th 2017 she's

out of Newfoundland but what's going to make this format different is we'll talk it out and go through it, but I'm also going to use a lot of excerpts of an interview I did with Courtney's mom, Lisa Lake.

And this interview I did I think about a year maybe a year and a half ago with the plan of making it an episode and

There's just so much to this story and so many moving parts that the interview

was about I think like two and a half hours long and there was just yeah there's just

so much in it but what was happening was anytime I try to put it together I just never managed to get the

to get it together in a really effective way of telling the story simply because there's there's so much to

it as you'll hear it'll end up I'm sure this is going to be a two-parter so as we go
