Alec Baldwin could soon face criminal charges for allegedly firing the round that killed

cinematographer Helena Hutchins on the set of rust.

The Santa Fe Sheriff's Office is about to release its final investigative report on the

shooting.

And it was the Santa Fe District Attorney who filed an emergency request for almost $640,000.

So her office would have the funds necessary to prosecute up to four people in connection

with this incident.

She didn't disclose who those four people are, but noted.

I think this would be considered a disclosure.

One of the possible defendants is well-known movie actor Alec Baldwin.

By the way, they said the prosecution could require up to four separate jury trials.

He has repeatedly denied firing the gun, which had been in his hands during a rehearsal

when Helena was harmed and then subsequently died from the gunshot wound.

A recent FBI forensic report concluded the firearm couldn't have gone off unless somebody

pulled the trigger.

Okay, so they are suing like a group of people rather than just him directly.
