What elite level skill do you have that makes people uncomfortable?

Remembering things about people. I have lied about not knowing things to not seem too much like a creep.

Remembering somebody else's schedule. Walking with minimal sound. I creep up on people all the time.

I don't mean to, but I make almost no sound when I walk. I'm the

same way. I make my wife scream all the time by walking into a room without her noticing. It happens

so often that when our son was somewhere between one or two, he also started screaming whenever I

walked into a room. He just thought that was a thing we did in our family. It happens to other people

outside of home too. I start talking to

people and they jump out of their skin. There was a restaurant in a hiat hotel that had a casino.

The waiter from that restaurant remembered our preference when we showed up with a friend six

months later. You guys were either amazingly awesome restaurant patrons or a freaking nightmare.

I'm a former waitress and bartender turned RN.

The same thing happens with patience.

Counting bills quickly.

I learned when in Uzbekistan, a place where the highest denomination was at 1000, but a meal

at a restaurant cost 20 to 30K.

Retail management without machines can do the same. The bigger stores all

have bill counters and weigh their change. Remembering oddly specific details about someone's past.

I tend to remember the odd crap people say for years, and it tends to freak them out. The worst

reactions were when someone was just making something up for a story and have no memory of saying

it in the first place.
