I am Sarah Powers here on a Friday with Megan Francis. Hey, Megan. Hey, Sarah. How you doing? I'm great.

We have a really fun topic today. I'm excited to dive into this. We're talking about raising creative

kids. You know, you and I are both creative people. We work in a creative field. We both have

creative interests outside of work. And we both have a bunch of

kids who are creative. But it's not like it played out like we thought it would. And so some of

what we're going to do today is kind of unpack what do we even mean when we say, oh, I hope my

kids grow up to be creative or I'm trying to

encourage creativity in my house. Like, what do we mean by that? And where, like, what's the

relationship between what we think of as like the arts, music and dancing and singing and

playing an instrument versus like, I guess, a more expanded

view of creativity. I think this is such an interesting topic just as a human being in general.

But from a parenting lens, I also think it's really interesting. And I think we both have some,

we have earned our stripes in this area by learning what what has worked for our families and maybe

where we had some misconceptions about creativity. So I'm looking forward to this. Me too. Me too.
