on the war in Ukraine. It's Thursday, the 6th of October, day 225. And today, I'm joined

by Associate Editor Dominic Nichols, our Assistant Comment Editor Frances Dernley, and our

guest, Independent Journalist Farida Rustamova. I started by asking Don for the latest updates

from the battlefront.

I've known David, hi, everybody. A lot of blasts last night in the city of Zaporizha.

So this is, obviously, in the south of the country, Zaporizha, the city is about 30 Ks, just

northeast of the Zaporizha nuclear power plant. That's slightly further south and west

round. They're both on the Dernipro river, but the power plant is some distance away. So

this is not an attack on the nuclear power plant, but an attack on the city. So far reports

that two civilians killed five missing a number of people pulled from the rubble, including

a three-year-old girl pulled a life from the rubble. The area is reported as being most

of the residential and businesses, seemingly no military target there whatsoever. Looks

likely reported as the weapon used was S-300, well, an S-300, which is primarily an air

defense weapon, so to fire at aircraft, jets, and helicopter, and what have you. But it does
