Summary

We continue to explore what Christians are supposed to do when the government has clearly become our enemy. If you are a Christian and are doing your best to live holy, man is this hard. I don't remember Jesus saying, “this is gonna be fun and easy”. If you are not a Christian, I would love your view on this. This is a conversation we have to have. Donald Trump Jr. had a conversation with a whistleblower about the technique the FBI is choosing to use with January 6 people vs how they are handling Hunter Biden. Their method is called a circular investigation, in which a linear strategy is abandoned, it becomes an intelligence investigation, and it doesn't have to end. We also hear John Kirby saying that if we do not fund Ukraine, we will have to pay in the blood of American troops. The subtext here is important and must be talked about.

What does God’s Word say?
Romans 13:1-7 Submission to Governing Authorities
13 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2 Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended. 4 For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. 5 Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience.
6 This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing. 7 Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

Do Everything Without Grumbling
12 Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, 13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.
14 Do everything without grumbling or arguing, 15 so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.”[c] Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky 16 as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain. 17 But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service coming from your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you. 18 So you too should be glad and rejoice with me.
