But the longer this goes on, and I was originally believed that Jim Dolan hadn't done this on his own,

the longer this goes on with the search happening the way it is,

it feels like this was more of a Dolan thing than an organizational decision or a Leon Rose thing.

And they tried to cover that up in the statement.

That's what it feels like to me.

I still wonder about the assistant coaches because they're all still here.

And, you know, depending on who they hire, you know, if it's an outside guy, which is outside,

what I mean outside guy, a guy that has no connection to the Knicks or this group of coaches

or this front office,

meaning that it could be, like I said, Mike Malone.

Maybe Mike would want to take it because he'd want to get back into coaching and accept

the coaching staff and everything the way it is and be amenable to working with the front

office when it comes to coaching the team like Tom Thibito was.

But I just think that that is a recipe for disaster.

That means the guy is just taking a job to take a job

and not doing it the way that he wants to do it in order to win a championship.

Yeah.

I mean, right now it feels like we're going to be looking back on this and saying,

man, what a terrible, terrible decision.
