So Bill Barnwell wrote a story today talking about, you know, potential trades in the first round.

Not that he's predicting these, but just to give you an idea of like what could come back if a team decided to move up or move back.

And Washington's mentioned in two deals. The first is kind of their own where they trade back. There's also a trade up possibility.

They trade back with Baltimore, who sits at 14. And for that, they get Baltimore's third round

pick. They also have a third round pick. They have number 71 overall, but they would get

next year from the Ravens. You know, I think there's always a lot of talk. Well, if we move back,

we can get, you know, pick up another first and pick up a second. Well, no, it's the Jimmy Johnson,

you know, draft value chart. And that actually works out almost perfectly to the point

total in terms of what Barnwell came up with. If Washington moved back seven spots,

they'd pick up a third, a fifth, and next year's third.

Or something approximating that total point value, which is about 400 points, the difference

between picking 7th and picking 14th.

But there's also a suggestion that the Arizona Cardinals move back with Washington moving up to number three.

What would it cost Washington to move up four spots from seven to three?

Next year's second round pick.

That's what it would cost.

Why would they do that?

Why would they trade up to three?

Well, Barnwell writes, they need another playmaker.
