I am really excited because today we're talking to Danny Meyer.

Danny is the founder and CEO of Union Square Hospitality Group.

He's responsible for some of the best, most famous restaurants in the world.

There's Union Square Cafe, Grammar C Tavern, Maya Lino, Daily Provisions,

which has my favorite pastry in the world, the Kruller, and of course Shake Shack,

which love it would say is the absolute best of all the restaurants on this list.

A few months ago, I read Setting the Table and absolutely loved it.

I took notes on my Kindle, which is impossible to take notes on.

I revamped a lot of the processes around my newsletter based on what I read,

became obsessed with the idea of feedback and service,

and a lot of the stuff that you outlined in enlightened hospitality and thought was incredible.

While I was reading, I drew some big parallels between some of the principles you were laying out

and how they could apply to the political arena,
