When we're planning the conference, we thought that very good, we wanted to make sure we had a session devoted to just talking about the papers that were presented and the issues that those papers brought about.

And when we were thinking about, but who could we have to comment on these papers, the three commentators we have are exactly the three we were hoping to get.

So it's a, I've been looking forward to this session in particular all day.

I'm going to introduce all three of them right now, and I suppose you guys can just speak in the order I introduce you.

Go about five or ten minutes, and then we'll just open it up for comments among the panelists and then

with the audience as well. I'm going to keep the introductions short just for the sake of time.

Dr. Chad Pecknell received his PhD from the University of Cambridge, now a professor at the

Catholic University of America. His books include Christianity in Politics, a brief guide to the history, and the

Clark companion to Augustine and modern theology. He writes all the time in places like First

Things and in National Review. Shereef Gergis has spent a lot of time pursuing very impressive degrees from Princeton from Oxford as a road scholar

back to Princeton again where he's pursuing his PhD and his JDs from the Yale Law School

the pursuit of those degrees hasn't interfered with doing actual scholarship.

He was co-authored with Robert George and Ryan Anderson, a very influential book titled

What is Marriage, Man and Woman, a Defense, and is just about to come out, it's just about

to come out, right?

With a very important, another co-authored volume, debating religious liberty.

That's co-authored with Ryan Anderson and John Corvina,

debating religious liberty and discrimination.

And that's Oxford University Press in a couple weeks.
