Hello everybody, welcome to another episode of a long for the ride.

I'm Andrea, your host. I've got Tuttle with me as always.

We're here today right after Christmas and took some time off and we're back at it. I promise we've got a good list of people that we want to talk to here in the near future.

And today's guest is one that I've been looking for to talk to for quite some times.

We're both kind of busy this fall season, me getting ready for the raining futurity,

him getting ready for the cutting futurity.

Not as you may think.

It actually didn't show himself at the cutting futurity.

He was getting horses ready for the Western bloodstock sales, especially two-year-olds.

His name is Wes Ashlock, for you guys that know a little bit about cutting,

he's definitely a familiar name.

Wes is very, very successful and it's got a great business training

and preparing two-year-olds for the cutting futurity sale.

And that's pretty much what he specializes in just these last few years.

I know it's shown quite a bit.

I mean, he was successful in the showpen in one over.

I know for sure over a half a million dollars, but probably quite a bit more than that.

I don't have the exact number.

And his wife, Lindy is super successful.

She's won about $2 dollars in the non-pro. She had two futurity

horses in the finals this year in the non-pro finals. So very successful lady herself. They've got

kind of a special thing going on. I got to meet them in, I believe it was in September. I went
