She helped to blaze a trail for women in professional wrestling,

and she accomplished a lot along the way.

Wendy Richter, thank you so much for joining us.

How are you this morning?

I'm doing great.

It's really good to talk to you.

Yeah, and, you know, folks, we catch up with our guests wherever we can right now.

Wendy is, she just completed a dog show with her champion dogs. I guess it was a very

successful event today for you. Tell me about it.

Well, we got first place, and she's a young dog. She's only 17 months old, so it's very

exciting. It's not the same as wrestling, but it's pretty close.

Well, you know, you like competition all along the way, and I know you've been a dog lover.

What is the breed you told me when we talked before? And is this a breed that you just, the only breed that you deal with

or do you have other dogs? Well, I have other dogs, but the breed that I'm showing right now

is an Anatolian shepherd.

They're giant dogs.

And the reason I chose that breed is they're my bodyguards.

They weigh about 150 pounds.

And they don't back down.

They're not aggressive, but if they sense danger, there's no stopping them.

Wow.
