In this introduction episode, I simply want to welcome you and tell you a little bit about

the podcast and tell you a little bit about the podcast and tell you a little bit about myself.

So in this podcast, you will have the opportunity to listen to very short stories so that you

can learn Spanish in context.

There will also be a video version for every episode of the podcast that you can watch

on YouTube, Instagram, Twitter or

Facebook. The video version contains the script and audio so that you can read

why or you listen. This is a podcast for high beginners and intermediate level learners.

The goal of the podcast is to help you learn Spanish in context and give you what we know

as comprehensible input.

Comprehensible input is a concept

that an important scholar and expert

in language learning,

contributed to our understanding of how it is

that we really know a language.

And that was Professor Stephen Craschen

at the University of Southern California.

And comprehensible input is basically conversations,

messages, communication,

listening materials, or reading materials that you can understand.
