As a first time gardener in 2013, I was frustrated that I couldn't find

the information at a level that I, as a beginning gardener with no background in gardening,

could understand. But I didn't let that deter me, and I just went for it. After many failures,

but also successes, those first few years, my garden started producing most of the vegetables that our family consumed each year.

So in 2017, I started the Beginners Garden podcast.

I wanted to share what I learned with other beginners so that they wouldn't have to climb the steep learning curve that I did.
