Hope you know I mean that. It has been really fun

talking about Welcome to Plathville. I had kind of a long break from the Plath family, which isn't

necessarily a bad thing. But man, have I ever been having a good time talking more about this show

and this family? And this episode is no exception. Season three, I really think the end of season two and into season

three is when Plathville clicks the most for me. Maybe not the most, but it's when it clicks first.

I find seasons one and most of season two to be very watchable and enjoyable, and I get why they

were successful, but man, it really gets good. It's kind of like how sister wives

built and built for me. I like the first season of sister wives, though, more than I do the first

season of Plathville. But then to be fair, I'm more of a sister wives guy than I am a reality TV guy,

certainly more than I am a Welcome to Plathville guy. I like reality TV. I like Welcome the Plathville a lot. I just love Sister Wives. I don't know why. It's just who I am. Just the way I was made, I suppose. I do want to make sure and say, happy New Year. Happy New Year's Eve, depending upon when you're listening to this. This should go out on New Year's Eve, so I do want to say, hope you're being safe. I don't know how many people are going to listen to a podcast on New Year's Eve, but I don't care if some people need it. And so if somebody needs it, I want it to be there for you. So that's right. I want to say too, since tomorrow is the start of a new month, that means there's a new sister wives deep dive coming out tomorrow on Patreon and through Apple subscription.

This one is called Into the Matrix Part 1.

It's about Robin and Cody, and I use coordinated management of meaning theory to talk about their relationship, how they co-create reality, how they maladaptively create a reality that's pleasing to them. If you like the communication theory stuff, if you like the explanations of toxic and bad relationships, that's going to be a good one for you. And yeah, by the time you hear this, it might already be available, as a matter of fact. So if you check it out, as always, I do hope that you enjoy it. But that's not what we're here to talk about today. And I do realize that we are here to talk about Welcome to Plathville. And that is indeed what I wanted to talk to you about. Season three, episode three of Welcome to Plathville titled Her Little Power Move. Yeah, there's a power move in here. All right. We're going to talk all about it. But first, we start with phone footage of Micah on a skateboard, goofing off, kind of like Mondo Gecko. They're more of the... What? There are more of the emojis and boomeranging and stuff that people who made this TV show got kids do on Instagram. And maybe they did at the time. I don't know. It was fast, though. This is a very, very short clip. I think the producers were

really tickled with themselves about being able to create this kind of content with Micah. It seems

like it doesn't serve any sort of a purpose. I guess if I want to be generous, it illustrates that

Micah is trying to be a model and trying to connect with the outside world and modern times

through his appearance. And so yada yada yada that's a lot

to do with social media i guess i don't know it's inoffensive it's quick it's funny i just don't know

that there's a really good reason to keep doing this other than it makes some editor happy but if that's all

it is so i think that's fine by me it's over though real quick like i said and we end up at mike
