I interview people for a living. One of the things I've realized is that no matter how successful

a person is, no matter how much power or money or fame they have, almost everyone is still

figuring it out. Most successful people still have challenges and questions. Some even have

moments when they think, when will everyone realize I don't belong? Hollywood is so specific when

it comes to Latino, and that needs to change. Pixar told me there were little girls

at the screening that thought they didn't understand the movie because they weren't used to girls

winning. If we want more of us to shine bright like a diamond, we need to invest in diamonds in the

rough. They'll tell us why they are, who they are, what they've learned along the way, and make us laugh and cry and all that good stuff.

I think we're in a really different world. You do you. And if they don't get it, then the problem is theirs.
