| 0:00.0 | Welcome to the man talk show, Training for Men, Answers for Women. I'm Connor Beaton. |
| 0:05.8 | And today we're going to talk about conflict and how to deal with your problems. And I've been |
| 0:11.0 | getting a lot of questions lately on Instagram from men and women alike about how to better |
| 0:17.1 | support themselves in dealing with relational conflict, how to turn that conflict into connection, |
| 0:23.3 | and specifically within the context of a relationship. So I want to start off by taking a little bit |
| 0:29.0 | of a different approach today and really just outline one of the main issues that most of us have. |
| 0:35.7 | So most of us as men, when we have a problem in our life, |

| 1:12.7 | emotional data that is within us. And when we do that, it creates all sorts of problems |
| 1:20.5 | within our life. So I just want to put this out first and foremost, which is this idea of |
| 1:26.1 | stop thinking about your problems and start |
| 1:28.3 | feeling about your problems, right? Because it is very hard to think clearly when you're numbing out |
| 1:35.7 | or overwhelmed or disconnected from your emotional brain, from the emotional data that is being |
| 1:42.4 | produced within you. |
| 1:44.3 | Right. |
| 1:49.2 | So you wouldn't try and solve an equation not knowing half of it, right? That just wouldn't possibly work because you would never know what the full totality of |
| 1:55.1 | the equation is. |
