Over the weekend, there was a in Illinois, in Willowbrook, Illinois. There was a Juneteenth

celebration at a Strip Mall parking lot. This is southwest of Chicago.

23 people were shot. One person fatally at this Juneteenth celebration.

Now, I sit here and I say to you, how is it possible that you have in event a,

an event that I think in this case, this is an impromptu celebration of the Juneteenth holiday

that occurred in this suburb of Chicago. And you have 23 people who have gunshot wounds and one

of them was killed. And it's not the biggest story in the country right now.

And you say, well, how do I know it's not the biggest story in the country? CNN has the

submarine story on its front page. I'm looking at CNN.com right now. The submarine story on its

front page that has Spotify executive Bill Simmons calls Harry and Megan Grifters.

And I'm looking everywhere for this. I don't see anywhere this story.

Now, and there were more people who were shot over the weekend, overall,

in the Chicago area and the numbers are always heartbreaking. But I would just ask you,

how is it possible that there's 21 people who are shot? And this is in time for an urgent

national discussion on what is going on here. What the heck is happening here?
