Summary

Ryan, Taylor and Graham are here to take a look back at the biggest games of the weekend!

West Ham vs. Arsenal: The Hammers scored five goals in this London rivalry—but somehow didn’t win! We look at how West Ham faltered and why Arsenal were able to bounce back from 3-0 down.

Leicester vs. Manchester Utd: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer doesn’t need to worry about the FA Cup anymore, but he might worry about his defensive midfield options…

Lyon vs. PSG: The battle for Ligue 1’s top spot saw Kylian Mbappe shine almost as brightly as the Parisian’s kits!

Celtic vs. Rangers: the Old Firm derby might not have had its usual energy levels, but there was plenty to talk about from the events in Glasgow.

Welcome to the Total Soccer Show.

This is the weekend review.

0:23.6

My name is Ryan Bailey.

0:24.8

And joining me today to cast an eye on some of the biggest games of the last few days is a man who managed to watch a bunch of games over the weekend and the Zach Snyder Justice League cut.

0:34.8

He's finding extra hours in the day that the rest of us don't have. It's Taylor Rockwell. As expected, I did not finish the Snyder cut of Justice League. I still got a ways to go on that one, but I did watch a whole bunch of soccer. All of it Sunday. Thanks, everybody who scheduled this weekend. Yeah, wonderful for the scheduling, not putting any of the big games on Saturday. That's the second time, I think, in two weeks that has happened.

1:11.6

Thanks, soccer. Yeah. How far did you get into Zach Snyder's cut? Was six or seven hours? You got a few more to go? How long is it actually? Is it four hours? I believe it's four hours. So I got to part four. I don't know how many parts there are, but it's one of one of the,

1:27.5

but not the final big battles, I think. I don't really need the big battles. I enjoyed the one that didn't exist that Zach Snyder had made for this movie, even if it was, partially why I watched it was to see how bad the CGI was in the places that he had to make up. And the answer was they made it video game style, which made it somehow more appealing. But all that to say, I'm still probably about, I'm probably like two-thirds to three-quarters of the way through. I don't know why I'm so interested in this thing I'm never going to watch. I'm just fascinated by the fact that a four-hour cut of a movie, which was kind of panned, is of such great cultural interest. Well, if you make it not slow motion, it's actually about an hour and a half long.

1:48.3

That's the thing.

1:49.7

He loves some slow motion.

1:51.1

If you thought he loved it in his other movies, buckle up.

1:53.7

Oh, boy.

1:55.4

Is that his version of lens flare going, doing the slow motion?

2:00.5

Yes. It's a better movie than Justice League, which

2:04.2

isn't a high bar, but it's definitely a movie made by one person instead of two different

2:09.7

movies crammed together into one movie. There you go. There's Taylor's IMDB review there. You can

2:14.2

find it on the website, a good five out of ten. I'm interpreting that as

2:18.0

joining Taylor and I is a man who would never turn down a hug from Scott Brown. It's Graham

2:22.6

Rutherman. Hello. I certainly wouldn't turn down a hug from Scott Brown. It was the first sign of

2:27.8

any affection over the weekend he's ever shown in his life. But I guess given the circumstances

2:33.2

which we'll probably talk about

2:34.2

later it was it was it was it was apt and quite in quite heartwarming but yes hi ryan how are you

2:38.9

i'm very good thank you graham for a bit of context there this is the old firm dab we were talking
