the British Red Cross and their Miles for Refugees event, a fundraising fitness challenge

raising money for refugees in the UK and abroad. Throughout June, people who sign up, like me,

a challenge to cover a distance that represents a common refugee journey to reach safety.

It could be from 22 miles to over 500. You might choose to run, walk, use a wheelchair, rollerblades,

swim or cycle. It's really up to you. I'll be taking part by running 22 miles across June.
