Fc podcast weekend preview

as the Premier League returns

with a match day 30 bang.

I'm Michael Bailey and alongside me is Jay Harris,

Namdi on Yagwara and John McKenzie.

Let's do a fixture formation because the domestic football is back and it is all a bit park the bus this week with an 8-20. Blimey. We have got a stacked Saturday. It begins with Newcastle hosting West Ham in the early kickoff. Followed by Bournemouth Everton, Chelsea Burnley, Forest Palace, Sheffield United Fulham. What a treat. all are, and Spurs, Luton, they are all at 3pm.

At 5.30, we've got a tasty Midlands Derby with Villa against Wolves, and we do then have a bonus Saturday fixture.

It doesn't end there. We've got Manchester United at Brentford come 8pm.

As for the Sunday, it's all about the title race.

It's Liverpool, host Brighton at 2,

followed by Manchester City against Arsenal from 4.30 at the Etihad, and that is where we'll

begin. Before we get stuck into the chat around this one, I think we should hear from our Manchester

City correspondent Sam Lee on the huge matchup. So my starting point on these big games is that everyone generally tends to go overboard and

say, this is going to decide it.

We don't know.

You know, the result could be whatever and could city lose at the weekend and then click

after that and haul down Arsenal, Liverpool?

Yeah, I wouldn't rule that out.

But what I do find most interesting about what will happen on Sunday is that it will tell us more about City based on the evidence we've got up until this point. Recently, for the Athletic or the club writers, we have to grade our clubs on how they've done so far from A star to F. And I went with an A for City because they're still great. You know, they're one point off the top.

They won the treble last year.
