A special edition of the podcast will be focusing on the big Monday night football clash between Chelsea and Manchester United.

I'm joined in the studio by a football journalist Gerard Brand. Hello. And our feature writer, Nick Wright. Hi, Pete. How you doing, guys? Looking forward to this one. Very much, yeah. It feels like a while since we've had a big Monday night football, doesn't it? This should be a good one. Yeah, it's a top four, six-pointer if you like, and it's intriguing.

Also, Keene versus Carr, round two,

debating the future of Manchester United and what on earth's going on there?

Always good fun, always good fun, that battle there.

Jamie Carriger, he will be on the show as well, he'll be in part three of the show, talking about the tactics around the game. First up though, Gerard, let's set the scene because we've said both of these sides really need a win, don't they? Yeah, Chelsea's bad run has just allowed the chasing pack to close in on them completely. I mean, Shepard United incredibly are just two points back and having played a game more, of course. And United will be nine points off fourth at the final

whistle if they do lose. It's such a huge game. And the thing is with Chelsea, I mentioned

in one of the earlier podcasts that maybe their first shock defeat of the season may be pivotal,

and that was in November, and they then lost

a Man City, which wasn't necessarily a shock. But it was that 1-0 defeat against West

Amar felt that really threw them out of alignment, and they've been that way since. They've only

picked up 15 out of 33 since then, and they haven't won back-to-back games. And I just feel with

young players, and they do have a young squad,

it's the highs are highs and the highs are high and the low can be really low as well.

And I don't know how many of those experienced players they have,

maybe aside from Azpola Quetta and Kante and maybe Georgino.

And what's really intriguing to me about this game is that Chelsea's big wins this season,
