Late in Hawaii, I'm your host, Neil Reynolds from Inside the Huddle, joined by Jeff, as always.

We're going to look back on week nine in the NFL and some statement games delivered,

Jeff, some statement wins.

But first of all, let's just talk about just, I guess, marvel at the athleticism of some of these NFL players.

Go back to Thursday night football, which is almost forgotten now,

Garrett Wilson's one-handed catch for the New York Jets for a touchdown. You've got Drake May running

around for about 11 and a half seconds to throw a game tie in touchdown for the Patriots.

Then he throws an interception in overtime and they'd lose. Sequin Barclay, I've never seen anything

like it. A reverse box jump over

a grown man who's nearly six foot tall. And then later in the same game, Devonte Smith has a

one-handed catch, back of the end zone for a touchdown, gets his feet down. I mean, they are logic

defying plays, Jeff. Not one of them there, but four to kick us off our chat on week nine.

Yeah, the one with Sequentant was the one that was so incredible to me, because we've got

conditioned to the fact that these are, you know, incredible athletes and they'll, you know,

hurdle one another and that kind of, but he hurtled the guy backwards.

I mean, it was how he could have the body awareness and the body

control to hurdle a grown man backward. Well, I was thinking the speed of thought, the speed of

thought, because, and it can't be thought, it must just be sheer instinct. Yeah. And obviously,

when you hurdle somebody that you're running towards,

it's more like a 400 meter hurdle.
