just came down. So let's jump into it. Leonard Williams staying in New York, but traveling from

the Jets to the Giants. Very rare trade here between the New York teams.

Doesn't happen a lot. A third and fifth round pick for a guy whose contract is expiring.

He's on his fifth year option year right now for the Jets. Goes to the Jets from the Jets to the Giants.

Very interesting. Yeah, I imagine his family's happy about it.

They don't have to move.

Just keep the same spot where you're at, same neighbors,

at least for this one more year.

He is a free agent after the season.

So I think we talked about this when we were talking about

potential trade candidates last week, though,

that I think he might be at the level

that if you trade for him, don't get an extension done, that you franchise them. Because

otherwise, this doesn't make any sense to the Giants, because they're not, it's not like we're

Leonard Williams away from making the Super Bowl or anything. I'm sure the Jets look at it like, well, we would have got a third for him in free agency.

Now we get the Giants third, which is earlier, it's a year early, it's a year earlier,

it's earlier in the round.
