the Arizona backfield. Of course, the Chargers backfield, they're always dealing with

an injury, some tight ends. And I think maybe a state of the union at like the low end tight end one conversation. So some of those guys are going to be on my drop list. Then obviously we have some youngsters that are making some noise. But we got to start this thing off with Michael Carter last week. He did end up starting. He played about half the snaps, but got most of the work that we're talking about that we want.

So what did you see out of Michael Carter?

And I was just shocked that he's only at 39% rostered in Yahoo League.

So I think that's good news for us that there's still a huge market that we can grow into as content creators.

We clearly are not reaching the masses yet.

Yes, dispiriting for how I thought the show was doing, Michael Carter is 61% unroastered.

Really wild to me that that's the case.

Carter, I think going into last week, we both agreed.

He was the better option. option played in this backfield.

That came out to be the case. He was basically the early down guy. I think they gave

Zonovan Bam, Knight, like a series or two. And one of them, he was really successful. And they let him

finish it out for the touchdown. But he played very little. It was the Mercado in the third down

role as he had been in previous seasons and as he had been in the previous week. Now, things get even better for Michael Carter. First of all, he looked pretty darn good to me. I mean, he's not going to be the best running back in the NFL, but this is a guy who once upon a time was a totally viable starting running back. And he looked to me like a fairly viable starting running back, especially a plug and play backup. And Trey Benson's going to be out at least three more weeks,

but potentially more. This was a meniscus trim. It's like totally plausible. He misses five games,

six games, seven games on the spot. And he had one career start. If Michael Carter keeps playing, there's no reason why he

can't make this a full-blown committee by the time that Benson returns. And add on top of that,

Mari Di Mercado, E.D. Mitchell, I'm calling him, made the bonehead mistake that everybody seems

so desperate to make of not wanting to hold the balls. They cross the goal line. I don't know if it's lathered in poison or what's going on. It drives me crazy that this keeps happening. But yeah, he wanted no part of it. So he gets extremely yelled at on the sidelines by jumping. Maybe he touched, maybe pushed. Potentially flapped. Either way, I think it's like quite possible that he is punished in some way for this.
