It was a pretty uneventful Saturday for week five you knew that was coming eventually but man we could have had one of the biggest

upsets of probably the biggest upset of the year it came down to a two-point conversion

North Carolina goes for two. Clemson stops it. The Tigers survive as a

27 point favorite Bruce. Clemson dropped to number two in the AP and coaches polls on Sunday. They were number one

obviously since the preseason. What's going on with our Clemson Tigers?

You know that's a great question. I mean I feel like no one is I expect no one to touch them in the

ACC or in the conference title game but Clemson definitely had were on the ropes by, with Mac Brown's team and a true freshman

quarterback Sam Howell.

And here's the question that I pose to you.

I think Trevor Lawrence looked fantastic, especially against Alabama in the national

title game and people were raving about him. I'm going to throw some numbers at you and I know

stats can be for losers and maybe you and I are them and whatnot and I'm not

saying Trevor Lawrence isn't a terrific quarterback because I think he is but

so far basically in the first month of this season eight touchdowns five picks he's

actually thrown more picks so far that he did all of last year including in the

playoff last year 30 touchdowns four picks this year eight touchdowns, four picks, this year eight touchdowns, and five picks.

He's actually sixth in the ACC, which is hardly a league loaded with the quarterbacks,

in quarterback rating, just in the ACC alone.

I don't think this is obviously reason for panic, but what is up with him?

Yeah, when he had kind of a rough game against Syracuse, but they still won the game decisively,

there was a little bit of his something wrong with Trevor Lawrence, but it seemed too early to go there.
