I'm Bob Harris. And before we get into Sunday's injury issues, I'll remind you we have a Monday night double header coming. Starts with the Jets and Dolphins mixing it up in Miami. Jet's quarterback Justin Fields has been cleared through the concussion

protocol. He'll get to start in a favorable matchup tonight. The Bengals will play in Denver

later in the evening. Bengals' tight end, no offense, is ruled out with an ankle injury. Broncos

whiteout Marvin Mims Jr. was added to the injury report on Saturday, listed as questionable

with a hip injury. Not sure he's a player worth waiting for,

but have a pivot available if you're counting on Mims. Now on to the bigger week four injury news and

well, it's not great. Giant Star Wide Receiver Malik Neighbors is feared to have a torn ACL,

according to multiple reports after he was injured trying to catch a deep ball down the right

sideline in the first half Sunday afternoon against the Chargers. Neighbors will undergo an

MRI today to confirm the severity of the injury. He'll almost certainly miss the rest of the season.

Coach Brian Davel said after the game he didn't have much information, but there seemed to be an

understanding the Giants now one and three will have to move forward without their top playmaker. Darius Slayton, the team's leading receiver in four of the previous six seasons, will again be asked to play a bigger role. Jalen Hyatt also took 26 staffs at Neighbors' absence, though he was held without a target. Wondale Robinson will continue to play a significant role too, but it's a big loss.

It's an especially brutal development on an afternoon that was supposed to be a celebration of Jackson Darts' first career start.

The first round pick led a nine-play 89-yard scoring drive and the first possession of his first start,

connecting with neighbors twice before finding the end zone on a 15-yard run.

Dart finished 13 to 20 passing for 111 yards and a touchdown pass to tight-end Theo Johnson.

Slayton was Dart's leading receiver with three catches for 44 yards.

By the way, the rookie first rounder was limping in the first half, seemingly from a hamstring injury.

Dart also seemed to injure his hand when he delivered a blow to a would-be

tackler and he was removed for a concussion check, but quickly cleared. Dable noted that DART

will likely be sore today, but the young quarterback of the Giants, minus neighbors, have a chance

to push their record to two and three this weekend when they visit the O and Four Saints.
