Week 3 of the football season is right around the corner.

So how we do our power rankings, how I do my power rankings here at Heartland College

Sports is very simple.

I don't do it based on what I project the season to look like.

I don't do it based on, you know, one performance. I do this by

looking at what you've done for me here in the last week and who you've actually played.

That has always seemed to me to be the most reasonable way to go about doing this.

So let's start with number one, the number one team in our Big 12 football power rankings this week,

the Kansas State Wildcats.

We've got K-State in that top spot, dominating Missou at home in an old Big 12 North matchup in a game where

Deuce Vong continues to prove he is the most explosive player in the Big 12.

And yes, you want to see more from Adrian Martinez.

The offensive line, the defensive lines look solid.

The defense in general is just unbelievable what Chris Kleinman's defense is doing for Kansas State. They've got Oklahoma
