Matt. Welcome in another edition of the Finis & Footballers DFS podcast. I'm your host,

Kyle Morganone and I am joined as always by Matthew Proud to be an American Betz.

Yes, it is the World Cup day today, two o'clock Eastern. We have an important game we're

recording this just before. So right now, like all Americans, we're optimistic. We're in a good mood.

That could change in two hours, but hopefully we're through to the knockout stage. So we'll see.

You know, that's the best part about being an American is we are brimming with hope with some

optimism. You know, a little bit of like pride in the sense that we think we're better at something

than we are. And we know with soccer, we are definitely not. But I I love a good DFS sweat. I like,

you know, good parlay sweat. I don't know if I've ever been more stressed out than watching soccer.

Like I was so stressed out this past week and I'm going to be so stressed out in a couple hours.

Did you did you wager anything on the game? I did. I mean, I did like a good American. I just

didn't say anything more un-American than not betting this game. Come on. Oh, the most

American thing you do is just USA money line. So so I did that. There might have been somebody

in our office that placed the opposite that did Iran money line just to be a turd. So give

guys, if you want to give Papa Josh on Twitter, our community manager, give him as much grief as

possible. He's he called her to happiness hedge. And you and I know that yes, we're all about that.

But this this this won't stand. So I'm I'm just going to be really excited during lunch. We're

going to be watching this. I mean, I'm really excited for a couple of reasons. One, there's a

player on the US men's national team that is very near and dear to my heart. He's a family friend.

And things did not go so well in the first match. I won't list his name. Walker Zimmerman.

But I love Walker Zimmerman. I've known him for a long time. And I hope things go really well. So
