Dinni Carter we're going to break down the entire week

13 Sunday slate beginning with the lions outlasting the Saints, segwaying into the Bucks outlasting the Panthers,

the Cardinals outlasting the rain in Pittsburgh where they surprisingly demolished

the Steelers 24 to 10.

But we will begin in New Orleans Denny

for the Saints, this looked like this whole era of New Orleans football was over early on, the Lions got

out to a huge early lead.

The Saints came storming back.

They still did not win.

Derek Carr got injured along the way.

This seemed like a really strange game from afar, a game I didn't catch any of.

Where to even begin with this 33 to 28 lions victory?

Yeah, I'll get into the car thing in a second.

Mostly, this was Sam Leporta season, and it actually makes a lot of sense.

If we retroactively analyze this game, we can see that the Saints give up the highest target share to guys running from the slot and Sam LaPorter runs a lot of slot routes along with Amman-Ross St. Brown.

St. Brown had only two catches on the day, but one of them was a 25-yard touchdown so he kind of got away with it but yeah the Port a 41% target share on on the day nine catches for 140 yards and one of Jared Golf's two touchdowns against Saints.

So really, really good stuff from him.

On the on the Saints side it was kind of a mess because you had the car injury

he injured his back his shoulder and his head on one hit and it was a brutal hit it was a brutal hit it was the guy it was an old school

like 80s type pick up the quarterback and drill him into the depths of the earth type of hit
