It's the week 13 waiver wire on FFT Express right now.

0:07.5

It's going on, everybody.

0:08.9

Dave Richard, Jamie Eisenberg.

0:10.5

It's time to get into Jamie Eisenberg's mind for the week 13 waiver wire.

0:15.5

And of course, Jamie's been writing the waiver wire column for decades on CBS sports.

0:20.4

So he knows exactly what he's talking about. Let's see what's on his mind. Let's start with quarterbacks, Jamie. And with an eye toward week 13, who are the guys that you're targeting off the waiver wire? So it's also an eye toward week 14, Dave, because we know there's six teams on a buy. So it's kind of, you know, marrying the two. but Trevor Lawrence, if he's able to return, was it, you know, bag of practice on Monday,

0:57.3

missed the last two games with a left shoulder injury. So non-throwing shoulder injury. If he does come back, he gets Houston this week, which is fantastic. And then following that is still a very good schedule. He gets the Jets in week 14. he gets, I'm sorry, he gets the Titans in week 14, the Jets in week 15, the Raiders in week 16, the Titans again in week 17.

1:31.5

So he may be a guy that can get you through multiple weeks if he stays healthy and, you know, comes out of this performance playing at a high level. He's 19.6 fantasy points in four of his last five games. Does have some injuries in the receiving court without Christian Kirk and Gabe Davis. those guys have gotten hurt since he's gone down. Kirk got hurt in his last game with Lawrence and Davis is missing, but I think he can still get by with Brian Thomas and Evan Ingram and hopefully whatever Travis E.TN still offers. So I like the setup for him. Derek Carr has also got a favorable schedule moving forward. Good matchup this week against the Rams or decent enough matchup this week against the Rams.

1:44.3

And then Will Levis has a fantastic schedule. Carr, by the way, scored 22.7 fantasy points in his past two starts. And Levis has been 20.1 points in two of his last three. And then he gets the Jaguars twice over his rest of season schedule, rest of fantasy season schedule. He gets Cincinnati in week 15. I'm sorry, Washington, week 13, Jacksonville, week 14, Cincinnati, week 15,

1:48.0

Indianapolis, week 16, and Jacksonville again in week 17.

1:50.5

So could be great for what Levis moving forward.

1:52.9

So I had like an internal struggle over which quarterback I would pick up first if I needed a

1:59.0

week 14 by week replacement.

2:18.1

It came down to Levis versus Lawrence. And I think I settled on Lawrence with the idea being, even if he's not ready to play by week 13, maybe he is by week 14. And even if he's not, I could still find another guy off the waiver. Plus, I don't know how well the Jaguards are just going to be able to run the ball in general. And the opportunities for him to throw down field, finish the year strong, throw to

2:22.8

Brian Thomas. I think they're pretty good. You laid out the schedule for Jacksonville. Do you see it the

2:27.2

same way I see it where Lawrence would be your guy if you needed somebody to replace Lamar Jackson or

2:31.6

Boe Nix in week 14? Absolutely. Again, you know, depending on how he looks coming off the injury, is he still going to have the desire to play because, you know, the Jaguars are playing for nothing. You know, there are some people who think that he should just opt for shoulder surgery, which is something that he might need and just get it done now, as opposed to waiting for a new coach to come in and have any delays in the offseason. So there's a lot of things that play with Trevor Lawrence. But, you know, if you want to get ahead of it, maybe Levis is the safer choice because you don't want to be fighting with other fantasy managers in your league who, if there's not a lot of quarterbacks on the waiver wire that Levis has already taken in week 13. Okay. Let's move it to the running backs.

3:08.6

And Jamie, somebody in every league lost J.K. Dobbins.

3:11.5

We don't know if we're going to get them back next week or not.

3:13.5

Nice match up against Atlanta.

3:15.5

Is Gus Edwards easily the number one running back to add off the waiver wire for you?

3:19.6

He is for me.
