It is Thursday, November 21st, and it's the first Thursday game of the year for the Browns.

They play the Pittsburgh Steelers at home in a game that you wish meant something, I guess is the way that I want to say it.

If these two teams were good, this would be one of the most anticipated games of the year.

Unfortunately, the Steelers are quite good, but the Browns are bad.

So the game is pretty meaningless for the Browns. Two and eight, maybe a chance to kind of

spit in their rival's eye a little bit, but I don't think the players are going to be motivated by

that. I think that's more for the fans. So in real terms, not much for the Browns to play for in this one, but obviously it's

happening anyway, and here we are to cover it. So I'm joined by Jake Burns. Jake, your feelings

as we get ready for a prime time national televised Browns game for the first time this year.

Well, I don't love it. You know, this is the first, like you said, truly nighttime game. We had the four o'clock Cowboys kick, and that was pretty humiliating. So, you know, it's like, hey, can we, can we not show everybody else the, uh, it's like when your family has a loose, I don't know, uncle or whatever. And it's like, hey, man, that's our disaster. Let us hide that at one o'clock. You guys take the mainstream game. Let's not go to Bob Evans for Thanksgiving. Let's keep him at home. We don't want him showing up with a pint of wild turkey in his back pocket and getting loose in public. So yeah,

we want to keep that in the house. We'll keep him sedated in front of the television that we'll

handle it internally, as Kevin Stefansky likes to say. I would give you this question too as we

start to peel back this. It's this game's happening so quickly. These Thursday turnarounds are

wild. There is the notion that by tomorrow, see, when you're listening to this show, this is the NFL's deadline to move Bengals Browns out of the week 16 Thursday night game. So that is something we have been talking about for a while. These two Thursday night games post by, but there's a chance. But, you know, the NFL might still want to marquee aFC

north franchises that they can pick apart and laugh at to be on that game like because nobody

wants to have their game move to thursday so it's got to be really really awful i don't think

they're going to move it but we'll know by the time you listen to this that answer will be out there

but uh stealers at eight and two and browns at two and. Like is there a dollar amount that somebody could have come like offering to get you to
