But first, Danny, it is September 7th, not to take people too far behind the curtain, but it's September 7th.

To listeners of this show, that means we are only two days away from Bucks, Cowboys, Thursday, evening, and 8.20pm Eastern on NBC.

To you, Danny, though, that means it is pumpkin spice season, correct? You love the pumpkin spice, you celebrated Labor Day with a pumpkin spice latte, followed by a pumpkin beer, topped off by a pumpkin flavored pumpkin. Is this correct?

All of that is conjecture spread by the corrupt media. Obviously, you bought into it. No, I don't do any of those things, and it is early September.

And for those who don't know, for those who are not permanently logged on to Twitter, and good for you for that, I have issues with the culture surrounding pumpkin spice latte.

It is a culture actually. It is. It's a way of being. It's a way of life, really, for millions of Americans.

My issue is this. It's a part of this relatively new phenomenon of forcing seasons to happen when that's not necessary because the season will happen.

Until climate change takes full hold of our lives, you know, fall will come, I promise, I promise, but what we have now is, you know, the pumpkin spice latte culture has people drinking these drinks from Starbucks in the middle of August.

So we're talking 90, 100 degrees in many parts of the United States, and people are walking around like it's a brisk late October afternoon in the pumpkin patch, or picking apples or whatever they do in New England.

You know, it's, to me, it's forcing the season to happen when you don't have to just wait six weeks.

So you, you're a fan of when Christmas music begins on November 1st, where the Halloween stuff, you know, start buying your Halloween stuff in May or June.

Right. I mean, is your real issue with pumpkin spice, or do you just, do you, are you an American, do you not like pumpkin pie?

This kind of thing. Do you not carve jackalanners with your children? Is it really, is your issue really just with the vegetable itself is pumpkin the vegetable? I think it is.

I carve, I've carved plenty of jackalanners. I like carving jackalanners. I like pumpkin seeds, you know, very good, very good, really good, excellent.

I don't like pumpkin pie. I don't like any.

Oh man, I'm sorry, but it's, it's not, I just don't, I don't like any pies.

I don't like any pie until I was probably about 22 or 23, and then my wife made a pumpkin pie.

And as I hold on, is this really like what pie is? Pumpkin pie is not really representative of all pies, but pumpkin pie was mind blowing.

It got me and, you know, it's like the hard stuff like pecan pie, a rhubarb pie, that kind of thing.

But you have some pumpkin pie that you'll turn your mind on, man.
